Portrayed

It’s been a long journey, as it always is. Sometimes I ask myself why I do what I do… and then comes the answer : because I have to. I have to show how important theater is. I have to show how important it is to gather together, in a room, and simply experience the raw energy that theater provides. Theater compels us to live in the moment. The presence of such powerful connection shared between actors is something we cannot not watch.

Art has always had an important place in history. It’s something we never seem to tire of, though God knows we are not the most patient of species. So, what is it about Art that fascinates us so ?

I am French and American and so is my team. Portrayed is the product of an evenly split multi-national team collaborating to infuse our production with an equal blend of both cultures. The experience of discovering the differences between the two theatrical styles has been, to say the least, a priceless experience. I love both countries. That being said, my goal for this production is to showcase the best of both theatrical visions and illuminate how effectively they can be combined to create a singular voice. I’ve put my heart and soul in this play…
